Alpine Valley is the first resort near Kharkov to provide the snowmaking system on the hill of the village Vasishchevo. Before that the villagers could enjoy skiing in the winter only in the forest, whereas now skiing down the slopes is also not a problem. For several years the ski centre has been welcoming the visitors of Kharkiv region in comfortable houses in the village and hotels.

The first thing that will surprise you is the clear, uncrowded slopes during the holidays. It may seem to be a very negative side, but for beginners that’s exactly what they need. Just imagine, you just hire some skis in Kharkov, come here, and can skate right away. No one will be bothering you, and in the case of a complete absence of skiing , you can contact the ski school which is located at the lodge of the ski centre.
